Id take the ecotec valve ioff, waste of time and you dont really want it leaning the engine out if you are giving it some.

Power... depends on what the engine was out of..
Some Astra GTE's including the champion where ment to have 153bhp standard.
But the MK3 Astra GSI and Cav SRi/GSi only had 147bhp standard.

But all of that could count for shoot!!

RR is the best bet!

What exactly does the ecotek do? or doesn't do?

power cap simplifies the induction path..... flows the air better...

You will gain BHP, but lose peak Torque. Your torque gets spread further up the rev range though, giving you the higher BHP, ken

just meaning if it has a big body kit it'll prob get wrecked.... chassis flex, leaning on corners bottoming it out etc etc
