been working on the corsa today after i took a little (120 mile round trip) trip to J100RSA's garage to collect an air pump and immobaliser chip (which unfortuanatly was glued into the key!!) damn

been sorting the interior, and gettin the engine bay sorted ready for the old engine to be taken out.

my chequerplate floor mats arrived today from myke. so they went in.
the dash is finished (lightened and glove box replaced with a switch pannel) but wont be put in untill the engine is in and wireing has been sorted.

just a few pics of the interior and new 2.0l brakes/re-con wheel, and you can just see the carbon fibre inner arch liner.

pic of the engine:

1.4 16V. i took the power steering off it, as i'm using EPS instead of hydraulic. modified alternator braket, non-p/s alternator belt and engine mount, K&N, 4-2-1 manifold. the engine is staying in that spec for now, untill the car is sprayed, and road worthy (tax, MOT, insured etc) then i will probably be putting carbs on it.

pluss, its pretty light. as its stripped out, and has fibreglass bumper, bonnet, wings, tailgate, and will have perspex windows and sunroof soon.

and once it has carbs etc, on it will have approx 120bhp

i didnt use anything to cover the tranny tunnel.

i like the sideskirts, and olus they cover up the crap which was left from the old skirts. i want the car to be low. kinda like a rally car just for the road. if you get what i mean.

its FWD
thats a pic i have of a RWD corsa its not his

you have to make a tunnel yes if you going to run RWD and a Ford Gearbox, also you need to custom make a total new buck head as the engine will sit north to south, also making problems for steering rack etc
i can get you pics of the mods needed for the buck head if needed
