OMG, i want one now. We had one delivered this morning for a customer, and lucky ol me got it on PDI! Looks stunning in red, and the seats are so comfy, you can actually go round a corner at more than 30MPH and not fall out, unlike standard fiesta seats! Its got a nice exhaust rumble as standard, and is impressively fast, 150BHP.

Also got a new Focus in the showroom, and they're alot better in the flesh than they are in pictures. Not allowed on the rd in that tho, cos not out until middle of jan.

0-60 in 8sec is bit crap, 130mph top speed is reasonable though.

but are ford making their figures look worse than what they really are, like they have done with the fiesta zetec s and like peugeot have done with the 106 gti (to lower the insurance group of the car)

Find it hard to beleive it only does 8sec to 60 does it have a 6 sp box aswell???

I suspect the ford will be built better. it's not all about speed.

Ok the clio 182 is renowned for its average build quality but ive heard from alot of people who own 172s 182s and they say they have had hardly no problems with it....

172 182's stick to the road like shit and to be honest their lovely looking cars...

They're awful! The shape has grown on me a little, but I still prefer the old style one. Having said that, the Saloon shape and the Focus CC (from the concept) do look nice.

I'm seriously looking at one of these. In Performance blue. Not sure whether to go for the optional side door stripes?

BTW! Top gear are testing the ST on Sunday (boxing day), putting it up against a C2 VTS!
