For as long as i can remember i have been cursed And this curse likes to fuck me about with my car 2 days ago i was driving home, stopped at a roundabout because a lorry was coming round, as it was driving past me (so its infront of me) it flicked up a bit of debry and hit my car causing quite a big stone chip, quite pissed off about that but i thought o well shit happens and you couldnt really see it, thought id treat it too a wash to make myself feel better and as i was wiping it with the sponge the paint fecking peeled off!!! Was so gutted so know i have an area, about an inch and a half with no paint on my bumper Booked car in for a service today(more money again ) and on the way up there was a huge pothole, i was travelling quite quickly because i was late, didnt see the pot jole till late, tried to swerve to miss it and ended up catching the corner of my bumper on the curb, BIG chunk missing

i feel like utter sh1te, i have no money, a destroyed front bumper and too much uni work to do,

life can be cruel at times,

pics when i can be arsed

Please all write really supporting things below before i find the nearest bridge, thank you please

Gutted for you mate, I had that a while ago in the astra, had a new windscreen fitted and on the drive back (20mins) over taking a lorry stone cam up and chipped it bang in the middle

these things are sent to test us, it will be fine in the end though.

umm, maybe if i fill up with optimax, should beat you then

Seriously though, at the moment its got a decat stainless system, what should be my next step in giving it a bit of extra poke???? an enclosed induction kit i was thinking bmc or green?

What you reckon?

I'd persoanlly think about getting a cooperS super charger off e-bay £150-200 5th injector set up, and off you go. reckon for £500 could make engine about 30% more pokey, then with £600 40%, but reliablity.
Depends how much boost you fancied.

you can buy ready conversions for a few G, but I reckon I could do it in the summer with all the bits for about 600-700, I've just got my hands on a 5th injector system that you'd need for the conv too.
just buy a cooper blower off ebay, abotu 150-200 then I'd have to play and make up my own brackets etc...... and then test run it to make sure it was ok, and feulled correctly, then off to RR to test it's out put. You could run 5psi, although 10psi is mor manly, 10psi would see about a 40% gain, plus the yummy whine of a supercharger, then you could sort out all the door stickers, lol

That sounds very, very good mate, money is the only objective at the moment but i think the saving will begin

if i run 10psi how will this effect reliability????

cheers, Jamie

I'd need to look at the kits available to buy "off the shelf" first and see how they run it then copy it pretty much. You'd want to consider a tubular manifold to help the exahsut gases escape.
I don't think reliablity will be effected, as these kits seem to work well enough, just the fuel bill will go up. Also in theory a DV can be fitted too

A DV

That should turn a few heads!!! Was thinking of returning the outside to standard and selling the bits off to make up the money.........

but then i washed it and realised how much i liked it!!!!

so just as a rough figure how much will i need to save up, including fitting and a new manifold then J?????

I reckon £1000 would leave you with some change. (I'm guessing £800, but I alwasy add 20% to be safe, gay if you run out of cash half way through)

And sleep look is best
