Your asking a question like 'whats better? Apples or bannanas?' It's down to personal preference, and also what the car is designed for. There are better things about having front wheel drive and better things about rear wheel drive.

yea like if you got your mx5 rear wheels stuck over a cliff, you wouldnt go anywhere - where as a front wheel drive car will pull you out

Or what if someone lifted up the rear of your MX5, even with all your haircare products in the back - with the wheels off the ground, you'll be late for your 2 o'clock with Mrs Johnson.

If you mean does an MX-5 handle better than a Corsa then the answer is maybe.

Depends what you want really. I'd be faster in a Corsa purely because I've very little experience of RWD.

Toyota Supra - RWD - Loads of Fun, Shit Launch but Great when rolling start. (crap in damn/wet)

Celica GT4 St205 - 4WD - Launched like a mofo (mines had 450hp) - handled like a really sharp handling thing....

now i got a Subaru, a Corsa and a Suzuki GSXR... Best to go with 4WD in my experiance...

but if u like big grins, go for a RWD.

up 2 u Drive 'em and luv 'em

FWD- understeer
RWD- oversteer

Handling isnt really about which wheels are driven, its about the suspension and balance.

The MX5's are meant to handle really well, with a decent driver the MX5 would piss a Corsa.

Maybe, you have to look like either a hairdresser, a woman, or a middle aged balding fat man who has a small penis and is suffering a mid life crisis to drive one. That said, you may find it fun.
