173 in the Corsa C with MTech did
there was a Nos Cav which recons it could do 200mph

but the 200mph mark is mental, even cossies and evo are finding it hard to get into the big 2's

yeah i remember this too

the f20 box can do quite alot tho. when his was on the rolling road it reached 145mph in 4th gear. his was a f16 box with f20 4th & 5th gears

Theoreticaly you could make a Corsa do 200mph, but in practice it wouldn't work out. The wind resitance would be the underlying problem to make it near impossible. That and the fact you'd need about 15 miles of dead flat straight smooth tarmac. Wonder if NASA would lend us thier space shuttle runway?

tbh, money would be the main problem and im sure no one on CS could afford a project like, especially like ed said, a custom bodykit/spoiler would be needed as the corsa isnt the best aerodynamic barge to be pushing it into the 200mph world

btw, has there ever been any 200mph hatches (saxo, pugs etc)? i know there are a few of hatches getting 170-80 tops, like that fezzie that maxed out 179 or something

eitherway beardy, what are you hoping for tops speeds in your beast?

its been in 5th

infact i have a video of her moving

after the total vaux feature it was on a massive ind estaste in a studio and at 7pm when it finished everyone had gone home, so spent 30mins racing up and down the park

thats the first time i have ever given her any

the cav when i bring her home (indercated on the clocks) 145mph in 4th (still abit left) so god knows what the corsa will do, will have a bloody good go, and get a video cam strapped to the cage

well theres a rs4 built by dahlback that has 1300 brake

so yea, im not suprised by that fact. Then it isnt a little hatch car

i am looking for a proven 150+ and i will be happy, as 150 in a corsa will be more then enother for me

and i dont think there has been any 200 small cars, most i have seen is sunny FRST as u said

Simple terms for Stve the Pirate:

Driving along hapily going nice and quick - press NOS button to try and go faster - too much power for gearbox - gearbox go bang - car slow down to a stop....

Attempting 200mph in open conditions on the motorway is fucking ridiculous, b4 smashing my dad's 996 Turbo I attempted it on the M18 between Doncaster and Rotheram on stretch of the road which is about 8 miles long and dead straight, I reached 185 still pulling like fuck before bottleing it, In a car rated to do 210, I seriously reckon you guys underestimate just how fast that is, a pair of red lights on the horizon approach so fast its scary,

And yes I know of an Evo VI Extreme, tuned with all HKS parts that pushed the 200 bracket
