im trying top get a day going for mainly vauxhalls at edzell sometime soon
try and find the fastest vauxhauls in scotland.
posible date could be september the 12th.
how does that sound and is anyone interested in coming along to race,???
will get results for all classes
there will be the usual cars there to but lets try and get it mainly vauxhalls.
think i can get all our results, in classes, seperate from all the other makes of cars there that day.

No, if your renting out the airfield then you can make up a track with tyres around all the runways.
1/4 mile burns are dull!

no chance of renting out the track and timing gear.
will be held on just a normal 1/4 mile day.
cant get it for just us. but if enough people turn up then we can out number everyone else.

I could see if a few of the boys from astrasport are willing to come along to this i know of a few guys that would like to put their turbos up against some comptetition!
before this starts into a free for all yet again anyone that has a problem will be told to either swallow their pride or stay at home!

anyone is welcome
not sure on the turnout for the vauxhalls as there hasnt been much interest. but if it doesnt happen then anyone who is interested should turn up and we will still get a few races going. and have a laugh.
edzell is easy to get to, just inbetween dundee and aberdeen, 1 mile off the duel carrigeway, not loads of back roads to get lost on.

Well theres a post in the Scottish Region of astrasport, Not had any replies as yet! BAZ have you tried MIGweb? VXscc? and the rest of the clubs kirsty asked to attend the falkirk meet on the 25th?? If i speak to Craig A16 he maybe able to get a few members of a VW club to come along aswell unless you want it all vauxhall!?

have tried migweb, got a few replies there, couple of people said they might come.
have posted on project vauxhall, nothing yet, but theres not a lot of people on there.
who's the rest of the clubs??
kirsty said she would try and see if she could get some interest.
there will be more than vauxhalls there anyway so anyone can come along, just thought it would be good to get a heap of vaux's there for a race,
will i try and organise one for july 2006 for you and the corsa adam, might be ready for then will it??
only joking, aye come along in the skyline.
price is usually same as crail, 15 quid for the strip, 7 quid entry.
if anyone knows of any other clubs , sites then post it up or let them know.
