My car died 2day... done a fault find on it and it turns out 2be the exhaust gas re-circulation valve.

Any1 else had a problem with this in the past?

just block the fucker off. the ECU will just think its fine and you wont notice any difference in the car (i think)

The Egr valve is the tin size job next to the TB. I've got a couple spare when I Pulled them off for the TB set up. If you need it just shout and I'll help you out.

The part was £186+vat from vauxhall!! Checked this out myself.

Got an even bigger prob now tho. The reason the EGR jammed in the first place is coz theres loads of bits of aluminium air intake floating around me engine, found this out coz the new 1 fcuked up after 20 miles, but will get it replaced under warranty

I was raped tho, I would normaly do engine work myself with a hand from the old man but I needed it sorted!

For a 1.2 16v i can get the part brand new for £97, thats for a Corsa B.
