No, as the transducer that runs your digi-dash should fit in the F20 gearbox too... Just screws on...

The reason you can't run a std post-96-odd speedo with the same GTE transducer is that the pulse system is different apparently... To be honest I reckon I could have built the electronics to do it, but it was just simpler to change to a mech. dash...

Add this to my list too! Ive cable tied it just far enough away from the manifold to not burn completely through now, but it was pretty close!

Oh, ok cool. I'm guessing that the calipers will come out of the Cav and onto the Corsa, with appropriate sized disks (from the cav?) without modification then? Or is some sort of fitting bracket rquired?

Calipers go straight on. Discs will go straight on... No mods... nothing...

Or buy new discs if the Cav ones are a bit old... 256x24mm vented... about £120 for some BlackDiamond Combi's...

Yea, I was gonna get some vented ones, either Black Diamonds or EBC... Cos The Cav ones will be a little shagged as the car has been sat for about 2 years apparently and I dont wanna be, er, testing my car and the disks to decide to disintegrate...

Black Diamonds

Also don't buy blackdiamond predator pads with them... they are just rebadged Ferodo DS2000's, and I seem to remember you can pickup the Ferodos a bit cheaper

my c20xe is'nt in a corsa yet, but gimme a couple of months.

had a couple of probs with it. dash temp gauge never moved from cold. engine ran a little rough, occasionally stalled approaching junctions.
found all this was a duff thermostat, and since replacing that it's been great.

splutters slightly from startup, which i think is plug related, but haven't got round to buying a deep socket for them yet.

the engine is running so much nicer now after running a bottle of stp total fuel system cleaner through it.

i'm on 93k at the mo, so i'll have to do the cambelt/water pump soon, and probably go for a minor rebuild after the summer.

got a chronic oil leak aswell, which pisses me off hugely, but i reckon i'll wait till it comes out of the cally before i tackle that. i read somewhere that the sump gasket is a job best done with the engine upside down!
