When i am on the internet for a while some dodgy porno ad comes up then i get disconnected and it tries to connect to something called xxxserver, how can i stop this?

Check your Dial-up settings.

if you have xp the simplest thing to do is do a system restore to a point before this started happening. alternatively u can just double click "my network places" and then click "view network connections" u will then see icons for all the dial up connections on your computer. delete the one called xxxserver

also make sure that your connection you want to use to connect to the net is set as your default connection
this can be done in internet options in control pannel

ive tryed the restore but its still there, and everytime i delete it the next time im on the net it comes bak

Download adware and Spybot and scan your computer. It'll detect hidden things, and things such as the xxxdialer and will give you the opportunity to delete them.

u can change registry values using regedit (click run on your strat menu and type regedit) but DONOT change anything unless u know what you are doing cos u can seriously screw things up

go to run off the start bar....

type msconfig

go to the startup tab, then see if you can see the suspect program in there and delete it..
