It will cost you about £15k to do it right.

Kit costs around £3k just for the parts, then wheels, badges, interior, fit/paint

They sell for around £10k if done propper for a Modded Turbo versoin.

body kit costs around £3000 by itself, plus u need to get ferrari alloys and bits etc so your lookin at around £10,000 i d reckon maybe more.
2nd hand ones go for around £10k

Yeh do it mate! I've seen a couple of really good ones in the past, and they look ace!

some people will go 'but at the end of the day its not gonna be a ferrari' - but ferrari's cost shit loads...

Providing its done well it looks brilliant - do it for the look and style, rather than coz you want a ferrari

Genuine Ferrari alloys and brakes are MEGA money! Prob cost you 10k just for those. Not even worth bothering with now. Rather than spend £20k on some shoddy MR2 replica, pick up a genuine 355 for 30k. One in the trader now, black 355GTS, 35k on the clock, yours for £32k. Plus, you won't get the piss ripped out of you all day long in the real deal

Only do it if its going onto a turbo with at least 300hp.

Theres 2 round my way and they look really good, only givaway if the rear side windows - they have vents on them on the MR2 but not on the F355

Cream leather retrim is also a must

I personally think you should kit a mr2 with the ferrari kit, but not for it to be a ferrari if you get me?

I personally think the Ferrari 355 looks lush. If there was a car released that looked like a ferrari 355 for a lot cheaper, but wasn't a ferrari, I'd still want one.

Make your one look different. For example, don't put it on geniune ferrari wheels, put it on some 19" chrome's or something different.

I doubt the speed is going to be a issue as I'm sure red will be using it as a show car, not a track car.
