tp replace the bleed so I get more of a constant boost


my brother just put 1 ov these on his a3 1.8t 8 more bhp and 20 lb more torque not bad for £30

Is it worth me fitting a Dawes Device to my TD? A few ppl have suggested em, but even after reading up, i still dont understand the gains i will recieve? Less turbo lag? More boost?

get a normal bleed valve! i gained 20bhp from bleed valve, zorst and filter on my TD

i dont think its that simple on mine.......coz otherwise loadsa ppl on pgac wud have done it already.

A few however have gone for the dawes device tho.

yes bleed and the MBC's just plug in between the pipe that goes to the actuator

between the turbo nipple + the actuator. Wud it make much of a difference if i ran a vacuum pipe up to the top of my engine bay, and has it there instead?

you get more of a boost spike with longer pipe.

oh rite.....well to be honest it would have to be done that way, coz the current pipe is tucked right up under the car! i'd never be able to adjust it!! lol
