nope it wount get hot enought to bubble paint on the cover. trust me. otherwise why would the engine bay be painted in normal bodywork paint?

fair point just thinkin cos mine is actually a rocker cover... will tht make n e difference?
and plastic parts... they spray 2? the cover above my engine where the airbox feeds 2 is what im thinkin

mines 8v as well, has anyone actually done one? not sure if thats able to taken off or not

well yeah that is different, the ones painted at the start of the post are rocker cover convers if you will

just plastic bits that go over the engine. i dont have one eather, just a spark plug cover

spoke to j100rsa and he thinks itl be fine on bodywork paint and plastic primer so i think ill give mine a go and clean the engine bay up a bit

Hey fellas.

I had a sticker made at a signwriters shop, from a CorelDRAW file I made on my computer, and stuck it onto my engine cover. It has the Opel symbol with 'OPEL DOHC' next to it. Looks trick in real life. You could make whatever you wanted to stick on there, and do the same thing. Hasn't bubbled, and it's been on there for about a year. Actually, I think the engine heat may have permanently melted it to the cover!
