Hi Peeps

Car going in bodyshop soon and need ideas on what lighting to get for lighting up the number plate as it will b going on the regier bumper?? something decent and small and easy to connect and fit?? wats the best light fitment for the number plate and what make and where u get it from ?? Pics would Be great help

i think he is on about the max power led rear number plate lights. currently i have them and they really dont show ur number plates so the police may pull u over and also they do say not for road use.

Nah iam on abt the lighting on back of shekies corsa on here i got same back bumper and i want the numberplate to light up just trying to find the most sutable lighting to light up the plate and the most neatest

I can do you some white leds in chrome holders, will look neat above or below the plate. Use them as plate mounting bolts too, look trick fitted with red leds and connected to the brake lights.

yeah sierra/granada ones, me stubbsy and Jaffa have/had them
cost me £2.50 for 2, and only needed one - Id send u the other but think I threw it at a cat

Neway if u go to a scrappies, make sure u take a pair of wire cutters with u so u can cut of the connector bloack and the light unit; dont just take the light unit - its a simple job to fit and wire up as well

and tbh - why people ever think of using leds or washer jets etc - makes no sense - these are designed and made as no.plate lights and are a fraction of the price

cobra - wasnt on about leds in the maplins single bulb sense - I meant buying those screw in numberplate dodgy lights that u see on most of the cars with neon washer jets

i got pulled over and got stiched up with a £30 fine for having no rear number plate lights and a gay producer

thing is tho 4! coppers got out of this HUGE meat waggon and scanned my car right over, they only done it cos 1 of them was on training, ive had old bill follow me loads of times b4 and not been pulled over, nobs

I've got the Lite Boltz from Demon Tweeks.

If you look at the top right and top left of the number plate you can see them. They shine down diagonally onto the number plate.



I've never been stopped by the police either!

thats wh yI dont understand wh ypeople buy them when they can get lights designed for the job which are slimline - discreet and more of a doddle to wire up

i used citoren zx no plate lights on mine as they sit quite flush and cant see them on the kit now, will try get pics up
