Yes it has much better handling than a Vauxhall, and it's fast/powerful for what it is, but IMO it's still a French piece of crap!

I love mine, lowered it 50mm on GMC springs and it handles so good now.
Its great to drive, fast (had over 135 out of it) looks good as standard, don't need much doing to them.
I've lowered mine and fitted crystal rear lights, all I want to do now is have the bumpers fully colour-coded, magnex de-cat and system, ram cooler and possibly some 16's and I'm done.

Steve speaks the truth, the 106 Gti is undoubtedly in the creme de la creme of FWD handling. Peugeot know how to make a superb chassis and theyve got it spot on with this car.

If you go with the pug sport bilstein kit with thicker roll bars and uprated torsion bars, i cant think of anything that would touch it on a roundabout.

I can think of lots of things that would touch it on a roundabout. My MR2 for a start, the list goes on and on from there....

hahaha!!! ok then. There is no way in hell a 106 could hold a corner faster than an MR2 Turbo. Maybe a UK but not a chance against a turbo.
