is it very expensive

ive owned an audi turbo and thought that was expensive hence y i aint got it no more.

looking at a 318 coupe. not including ins.

Well, he says bmw are expensive 2 run, and i gave him an example of what my dads does! 318, do bout 24mpg, went out in one the over day, (auto) obviously, but used the auto stick, great fun! thye dont stick 2 the road that wel . . . ... . .

318 should do waaaaaaaay more than 24mpg! The CTR should do over 30/32 if you drive sensibly.

on a seriouse note, i too looked at the 318 coupe, insurance was groupe 13ish i recall, not bad cars, a lot of luxury to the £. 4.5k will get you a pretty decent n reg one, 17s, tints, mtech kit, letheur etc etc

I've got a 328 coupe and its not that expensive to run. I don't know where the 24 mpg came from? I think someone just made that up. I can easily get 35mpg out of mine on the motorway.
Last inspection 2 service from a specialist cost £180 plus brake pads.
I've had the clutch done, that was £350 from my specialist (BMW parts) new radiator was £150 plus fitting. (again BMW part)
The cost of owning a BMW really has come down. I think VW/audi parts are more expensive these days.
