Their lack of 8 valves really shows up when approaching 100mph dont they! For a car with 6 BHP less than my sport, they really get embaressed. What are torque figures for the VTR?

well first you were comparing a 1.6 16v to a 1.6 8v, saying the 8v was slow because it only had 8v's

then saying you cant compare it to a 16v vts because it weighs less

now your saynig you cant compare it to a vts because it has more power

you are a tool

I am a tool of destruction. I am impressed with the VTR's ability up to 60mph, but after that the mid range torque just fades away to nothing. Thats all i was saying.

and no accepting that a 1.6 8v rallye is faster than a 16. 16v sport

so its not down to the number of valves my monkey friend.

it is a number of different factors.

and i was saying i cant compare a sport to a VTS because it has nearly 20bhp more than the Sport, as well as being lighter. I was comparing the lighhter VTR with the heavier sport in actual fact.

This is simply because of the tuned 1.3/1.6 engine that is put into the rallyes, as well as the lighter shell.

its not as easy as comparing a lighter car with less power against a heavier car with more power.

i stand by my previous comment. you are a tool.

I was merely commenting on their lack of strength upwards of 100mph. Is that so hard to conceive?

like? the lower torque figure? What difers between the VTS and VTR apart from the number of valves?

the vtr only has 1 cam. the vts has 2

plus a number of other things.

so the lack of eight valves could be the reason why the VTR has less power and torque than the VTS, amongst other things?
