Is there any additional maintenance needed with a VXR over a non VXR let's say? As most of you know I've got a Fabia II VRS and that requires to be fuelled up with the V-power and the higher grade oil. Is this the same for the VXRs? Just need to get some info before I settle my mind, and anything I need to look for?

Thanks in advance.

You'll have an extra badge to polish over a non vxr.

Good enough for me cheers Kyle

However the car that I'm looking at might be taking the vxr badge off

Oh, and as I'm pretty sure you won't be getting a VXR version of the Astra J/Vectra/Insignia/V8 RWDs - Look out for the M32 Gearbox issues

The Corsa, Meriva, Astra H & Zafira all use that unit.

Just before you pour new oil in you must have it blessed by a Catholic Priest.

Says in the book for my corsa 97 or i think maybe 98 ron petrol. Can count on one hand how many times it got that in two years. Just a regular car really.

So basically a preference, albeit without any solid foundation. Rather than a requirement

If i brimmed my tank with 95 and vpower i would get more mpg out of the vpower but it cost more to brim the tank.. Swings and roundabouts.

Now i do use vpower as thats what ive mapped it to so using a lower ron fuel would cause early det.
