Time has come to look for a 7 seater and wondered if anyone on here had much experience or any suggestions

At the moment I can't seem to see past the S-Max
Have looked at Zafiras but the boot seems tiny once the back seats are up

Hoping to spend around £6k but could probably stretch it to £8k for the right car

Anybody suggest any others I should be looking at?

S Max is a cracking car.

What mileage are you doing at the minute? Only because I would recommend a Disco2.5 if you can find one in budget which is 7 seats too.

ive drove zafira's, 5008's, galaxy's and S-max's and out of all those the ford's showed the others up especially with the 2.0 diesel engines.

Always had power when needed and enough room to get 7 adults in.

But the new sharan's are a lovely drive too but very pricey.

hope that helps mate

My Step-Dad used to have an S-Max as a company car, was only the 1.8 diesel but it was no slouch! Was a brilliant car, one of the best looking cars Ford have produced recently too IMO. There used to be 5 of us, and we all fitted in just fine. Drove it all the way to Spain and it was spot on for space.

Nothing comes close.

Zafiras are long in the tooth and new ones have rediculous road tax. S Max should be good to drive being a Ford though!

only decent car in that sector is the s-max. it looks and drives the best, hence why it's so popular, and holds its value well.

We have an S Max Titanium as a pool car at work and I always fight to try and get it as it's lovely to drive. Really comfortable and the 2.5T model is surprisingly good on petrol for a car of its size
