Not much in it at the end of the rev range between the Corsa and Punto.

But the Punto gets there a whole lot quicker

He needs it mapped so that the power comes in a bit earlier, or gets a raised rev limiter.

Would be interesting to see a graph of a 2.0 compared to a sorted 1.6 kicking the same power. Will proberbly be similar to the punot graph though, with lots of power low down in the rev range.

Shit, thats surprising. Was expecting the 2.0 to have more low down power then level off earlier. Maybe tuning the 1.6 is actually better than a 2.0 converstion then

What kind of torque figures would you expect on that Vibs?

Feedback on the car is that it's quite a rapid Corsa!

Torque always gonna be bad on the 16v Corsa units Andys only got around 150-155lb ft in his nuttymobile. Blooddddddyy fast though

Vibs, yeah, the 16v is a very revvy engine, im not suprised that power doesn't really peak yet. Usually there around 7000-7800rpm. But at that limit is when the internals start to wear easily. But just valse springs and con rod bolts are all thats needed really. Conrods themselves arn't too bad till u get to 8000rpm + territory.
