can any 1 help with my prob i have 3 amps 1 9000 watt 1 1100 watt 1 225 watt and a power cap but need to upgrade my alternator my car is corsa b 14 sport

get an alternator off a aircon model?may have a higher out put.

I doubt any of those ratings are rms. Either way what fuses are on the amps?

yes you will probably get away with standard altenator, just put another battery in the boot

main fuse 250 amp rats are not rms if thay were it would blow the car apart

Just put a decent batery on the car.
Like one of them yellow top ones that will do the trick.

Well if your having no problem with charging/battery going dead im sure your alternator will be fine.

100-120amp alternator off a cavvy, vectra with a/c should be a direct swap.
whats yours?..

Well you shouldnt need to upgrade it. People only usually upgrade if there alternator is struggling to cope with charging the battery and running a sound system

whilst your engines running, do your lights dim - when your tunes are pumping?

if yes, put a bigger alternator on.
if no, leave it

a bigger alternator wont really give that much more amps though will it really, its the engine revs that will give the amps
