ok this is a bit long winded and im doing it from memory so don't blame me if you fuck things up

You need to enter programming mode by entering your pin number. Consult your manual on how to do this.

Then you need switch 1-5 (siren chirp on/off)

after entering pin, turn ign on press button 1 once.

Turn ign off.

Turn back on, press button 1 once, you'll heard a chirp

Turn ign off.

Turn back on. Press button 1 5 times slowly, the alarm will chirp each time you press it, after the 5th press you'll have a solid red LED (indicating status is off), press buttons 1 and 2 TOGETHER to change this to green.

Turn ignition off and wait until the alarm exits programming mode.

It should now chirp when you arm and disarm the car.

Hope this helps

switch 1-6 is Lock Pulse Duration. Default setting is 0.6 seconds other setting is 3.5 seconds.

As long as you changed it back then it's fine

no problems mate.

I've been trying to get the siren chirp (when you arm/disarm it) turned on because the muppets who fitted it turned it off (it's illegal apparantly)

The switch i need is 1-5 but for some reason when i enter it all i get is a green flashing LED.

yeah mine was switched off when i had it fitted too? But i changed it just as u described and had no problems.

Only thing i notcied was when u are pressing button one five times, on the first press, it doesnt chirp, but does on the next four. Hence why i ended up at 1-6.

why would it be illegal?

Most cars dont chirp when u arm/disarm them, ie factory fit ones?

No ignore the chirps just do it by the number of presses, first press wont make a noise, and it worked for me.

Hope that helps mate
