Parts are hard to come by and expensive, not good for runabout.

Buy a Nova as a runabout, cheap parts, scrap yards and parts centres have shelves and shelves of parts and are dead cheap to maintain.

Don't buy French, you will regret.

Wouldn't get another one, dodgy electrics, hasn't started for almost two weeks now! Dealer customer services is completely shite!

Conersation with there service department the other day: me- "Hello i was wondering about getting my ECU re coded?"

Him-"ECU!!! A new one will be expensive, over £500!"

Me-"No just recoding"

him- " Uhhhhhh, Maybe you need a new coil pack!!"

WTF!!!!

I'm baffled by your cheeky little grin.

You and Nismo should be brothers, you look very much alike.

for a french car they aint bad actually, ive repaired and sold quite a few now and their very easy cars to work on, plenty of low milege ones kicking around at good prices. the 1.1 isnt super fast but it isnt super slow either and will do plenty of miles to the gallon while also only being in grp3 insurance!!!

As a runabout u can do far far worse!

I love my 106 and not had any major probs. It handles quite well for standard and the 1024cc is sweet and quite nippy around town.

Mine has a FPSH and only done 39k. I would deffo get another one but really want something a bit bigger and 3 doors.

Here is a pic for you:

nah i was in the dealership, its where the ECU has locked its self and the codes with the key and ECU need to be reset. This is not the only bad experisence i have had at the dealer. They don't seem able to fix there own cars!
