Cans, from halfords where they sell 'special' wheel paint. I spect its just normal paint but it did a good job.

Its not too hard to do, but make sure you get the tyre off the rim before you do it, or get the leading edge of the tyre pushed back by a tyre fit place.

Also remember that if you get the tyre taken off it'll have to be fitted again, and that the filler might not be strong enough to take the force of the tyre fitting machine

Also, its not neccesary to take them back to metal, just use filler on the kurbs, and rub down til its smooth

Try and build it up with filler although it'll be hard. Otherwise i think it can be repaired by welding, but i don't know anything about that

Here are some piccys, filed most of the curb marks out of all four rims, and sanded two of them down around the outer rims)see pic wiv drill in)

This one shows you the corrosion and curbing(its the worst one), looks really bad but is only wear laquer is peeling off!!

This is how i am protecting the centres while sanding etc, and the other bad wheel

his one is of the two above wheels after i have filed and sanded the rims down

was gonna respay the rims with silver and use primer, then laquer

But now might try n rub down wiv wet n dry and polish wiv autosol then just use laquer, i well keep you posted wiv my progress
