once again the media turn something around to suit them

firstly, the bloke knocked down was hit by a STOLEN CAR CHASED BY POLICE - how is this anything to do with cruisers, the car wasnt at a cruise or at a race or even driven by a cruiser?

the 2 lasses were killed in a car driven by A TEENAGE BOY - wow a lot of information there. didnt say he was speeding or racing anything or that he even attended cruises.

they just show u an image of one thing, then show u an image of another, and your mind sub-conciously puts the 2 together

CRUISE
RACE
LAD HIT BY STOLEN CAR
CRUISE
RACE
LASSES KILLED BY TEENAGE DRIVER
CRUISE

this type of documentary makes me mad

media makes out that all people who mod there car are out there being prats but thats just the dicks and pikeys

the same situation happens at football matches

40,000 people watch a football game

50 people go just for the fighting

media doesnt make all 40,000 out to all be fighters tho do they

same as clubbing, or just about anything

there are always 0.5% who spoil it

tried many a time, helen cambell from up here, came n did interviews and everything

they take what u say out of context

i bet 100 quid they go up2 people and ask them to demonstrate a handbrake turn for them, then video it and make them look like they are doing it for themselves to act cool

at end of day, their job is to get scoops to sell and make money, not to help teenagers out

Yes but a lot of "car modders" carry out illegal activities such as...illegal licence plates...speeding...racing...dangerous driving...

there is no smoke without fire...its just a shame that the people who do genuinely go for the cars are branded in same way...

but I would say a lot more than 0.5% of modders break the law...

Should get the media to come to a real cruise with the real cruisers not the pricks and there stolen escort mk2 who rag the balls out of it then blow it up.

the media sucks! ! ! ! !

no, at a cruise, illegal plates do not kill people

0.5% of people come with the intention to cause trouble

a few cruisers speed yes, but EVERYONE speeds on the roads at some point, even if its by plain ignorance to the speed limit and speedo

Very sensationalist. I'm pleased the genuine cruise scene got a good showing but deeply disappointed that stealing a car and knocking someone down on the wrong side of the road is in any way related.

The lad who crashed and killed the girls was apparently veering the car from side to side of the road at speed and lost control. The girls supposedly got in the car to settle an arguement between the driver and another girl, something they were unable to do.

been there dont that several times

they dont show people making new friends, showing off HOURS of hard work and not to mention money, businesses doing trade, people having a good time looking at creativness

the one or two always play up for the cameras giving us a bad name

To be fair there was the general tone that cruising was OK but racing not. The police involvement was entirely fair.

No, the fact that the primary cause of the death of those girls was a young lad getting a strop on and crashing didn't come up in conversation.

the kind of people that program is aimed at dont want to watch 100 ppl all saying 'yeah im here for the atmosphere and to look at some cool cars' Theyd rather see some tosser stating '160 is safe on public roads at midnight'

I think the fact that they linked that guy getting mowed down to cruising is absolutly outrageous, but the media dont care as long as they get the ratings.
