the torque figure is very lower for the power it produces. so what has been done to the engine?

max torque at 4050 rpm????? what the fucks going on there, it should about 2500 rpm

why?? because those readings dont show characteristics of a turbo diesel engine thats why.

it is low for a 180 bhp engine, it should be more like 377 nm

um if you look at the graph properly you will see that the torque NEARLY peaks at about 2800rpm, and is pretty much a flat line untill it drops, yes it peaks high but only just....

and if u look at the graph properly you will actually see that it does peak around 4k revs.

yes, i know thats where it peaks, but what i am saying is that it is a very flat curve from around 2800rpm (which yes is still high for a diesel) to about 4200rpm,

hmmm nice v

i would be very interested to find out what has been done to this 1.5 td, it just doesnt seem right to me, back to the torque thing why i said it was cos the vag 1.9tdi 100 bhp version has 250 nm of torque admittedly it is a slightly bigger displacement but even still.

im looking at buying one so have been doing a lot of research recently into both the 110 tdi and 115 tdi and the many tuning options for them you can get over 200 bhp from both running near on stock boost pressures, now thats scary.

there are some brillaint forums www.tdiclub.com is probably the best for technical and tuning, there are like 50,000 members all with vag 1.9 tdi's i would love a 150 but unfortunately they are too far out of my price range, i recon i can just about scrape together enough for the 115 6 speed
