I'm looking to get myself a new watch and I like quite chunky ones.

Been looking at ones like these.

Anyone else like chunky watches and got any other suggestions?

I got this one off my Mam and Dad for my 30th and it's very well made for what it cost.

Budget?

Want something that is more of an investment/money retaining piece or happy to buy something that may stand to loose most of its value?

It's not something I'd ever sell, so not interested in how it holds its value.
Maximum of maybe £500, but happier to spend around the £300 mark.

I'm liking some of those TW Steel ones.

Everything above 42 mm looks weird imo. That Diesel is 57 mm, that's just insane.
Looks like a China special as well.

I think it depends on the size of the person wearing them. I'm 6ft 2 and quite chunky so anything small looks odd.

Chunky build or not, a 57 mm watch is going to look like you're wearing a wall clock on your arm.

I really can't get excited by the fad of big watches. I'm obviously one of the few though as most brands have made their watches bigger to cater for the demand.

I do have amazingly small wrists though
