well stripped her at the wknd and started to sound proof it, after a few cuts and boroozes lol i got most of it in, better be good stuff for the amount i paid for it lol







will keep this thread posted with progress pics next up is doorcards

what have you used for sound deadening? and have you used a roller or anyting? looks like theres loads of creases etc

it is the stinger extreme sound proofing, i belive pete has got sum in his to, when them foto's were takin it was just abit slapped on, but since have used a roller and a heat gun and looks alot better now mate

wanted to keep these doors simple but sweet, as im going for stock entry level next year, not the best oo pics but u get a ruff idea how they look, footwell builds are getting trimmed now and shud be all wired up and in my car by the weekend wot you think?

looks good 1 q why are your tweeters at the bottom of the car? To get the best out of them they need to be a bit higher? Sorry for being picky

cheers matey, as for tweekers we tried them at he usual place in doors and they sounded like they were to close to me if u get wot i mean so we were either gonna direct them into the pillar above the door or put them where they are now, we tried them there and they sounded awsum, a very big improvement, plus now with the footwells been in it has leveled out alot more and the sound quailty is amazing

Surly that won't sound that good with two tweeter and two mid range. You would have been better having ur normal components in the doors and one midbass driver in ur custom footwell pod.

I'd put grills over the speakers if it was my car otherwise the mrs hig heel would be straight through!

u can put grills on mate they just clip on and off but i think they look better without them

@ jayc ur probably right mate bout tweeker situation but u gotta remember here in building a db drag system not an sq
