I can't help but think in this situation, you have done yourself, rather than him doing you.

As long as i found out before i driven the car any number of miles and without my kids in it that's all that matters to me, i just put this thread up to warn other users not to trade with him. Thank god i found out sooner rather than later when my car would have more than likely been shiny side up in a ditch somewhere.

Police wont do nothing he will just say he pointed it out to you when purchased and no history of cash changing hands

Do NOT trade with this user, bought some speedlines off him a few months ago and only got my car on the road a few days ago and i took the wheels to get new tyres and one of them was completely fucked. It was completely bucked and out of shape, he told me it had been repaired and welded in the past and that it held air fine, there is no chance of this wheel holding air. I brought it to 2 wheel repair centres. One wouldn't even touch it as its been welded before and the other had a quick look at it and told me it was only fit for the scrap yard. He said there was a 5 inch crack around the wheel that had been welded very badly and if i had of hit a bump he said it would have broke and i'd have been in an accident. The wheel even had filler on the inside to attempt to hold the bead of the tyre in place as the person who welded it had ground back so much metal it wouldn't seal. I paid cash so no chance of seeing my money again. He's pretty much put my life and my kids life at risk to make a few quid. I've sent him various U2U's with no reply along with a text to which he hasn't replied. STAY well away from this user. I've got his address so I've a good mind to get the police involved. Any recommendations guys?
