That looks awesome dude. Glad to see another progress thread from you. I used to love the ones you did when you first started painting. You still doing other people's cars or are you still running the pub?

after track day at anglsey did notice that van was struggling with water tempreture was fine on lower boost setting! so i made a large imprezza alloy radiator fit, slimline fans also!

so bought few more things for car, also my one damper was shot after track day there also, so 160 latter and more raceland coilovers arrived :-) hehe

the parts to fit

radiator fitted

new suspension fitted
with whiteline rear anti roll bar

all back together

Looks good mate! Personally not a fan of the extended bonnet and wings and smoked lights! IMO looked best in 2009! Needs genuine gsi bumpers and new alloys and it would look great

2009, i then decided to take the z20let engine out and replace it with a leh engine from mk5 astra vxr, had only done around 7k miles and wanted a 6 speed gearbox, that was fitted and went for a stage 4 map at courtney, came back with 281 hp but was beinh held back by my exhaust and de cat pipe being small!

the van was then painted white...... wheels went black, bad fibreglass gsi bumper added!

i had rushed painting it so was not happy so re painted it...... smoked the lights more and extended the wings and bonnet!

then i decided to tidy it up, fitted coilovers, went up to 18s and painted the car arden blue, modified the front bumper and did few other bits.... it stayed like this for rest of 2008

the van was then moted and and put on the road, i drove it around like this for few months, great sun looking normal/ a mess but still being quite fast!

few other parts were purchased at the end of 2007 ready for the new year

intercooler....turbo, enxhust, de cat pipe

lets rewind back a few years to 2007 when i bought this astra van with z20let engine in as project, bought the shell, the engine was in, but no wiring! that was about it!

so i ended up buying a damaged non repairable astra sri turbo for parts...... selling the parts i could, bought few other bits for project, like the big buckets seats etc

the van was stripped down and painted all inside and in engine bay.....

then the engine went in, along with EVERYTHING from the sri turbo, brake lines...... fuel lines, wiring, tank, etc etc

i decided to keep the van as stripped out look, keep weight down etc
