So would you say that buying a 1.0 ltr,is LESS hassle than any other litre of corsa, bud? (2.0 ltr+ conversion) Thinking of attempting this myself-with help in the future, just looking for a bit of info!

gave the corsa a wee clean out today, managed a full wheelie bin of rubbish from the back so all the seats are all folded back in place for the first time since i got it, the story so far i got the corsa for free and the engine for free but then i needed mounts so corsabid to the rescue got the mounts and a set of shafts off him which was a great help, while iwas there i bought the front suspesnion casing that he had from a v6 cavalier which still had there hub flanges and brakes fitted, also got the full rear brake setup which he unbolted from the cavy axle as i wanted (nice one) so with a spare gsi corsa rear axle that i have im going to so a rear disc conversion and get the front 5 stud flanges machined to fit the corsa wheels bearings so i can have discs all round and 5 studs, once its on im going to get some 5 stud alloys(maybe calibra turbo wheels) if i can get a set and also a set of 15" vectra steelies which im going to get powdercoated so that there easier to clean up after the long haul drives to crail etc so hoping to get it as sleeper like as possible but time will tell, but aying that it was a bit warmer today

lol hope so, i didnt want another corsa this one became my 15th corsa but i stupidly sold my gsi before christmas and missed it so i got given the r plate 1.0 shell for free with 67k on the clock and also got given the xe for free which has 77k on the clock on the preoblem with the xe is it need a clutch and water pump but thats a nice excuse for a full timing belt kit and preformance clutch

poor gsi dunno where she is now

been on here for a few years and went through many corsa's but ive never wrote a project thread so heres my first

this is my 1.0 corsa dunno what model as ive no v5 for it yet but dont really need one at the moment as its going to be spending a fair ammount of time off the road

the day it got brought home

came with this joke of an engine

the best badge in xe ownership

1.0 came out in the dark as its so easy to remove, got all the wiring sorted for its new engine to be fitted

new engine hanging in

once all the regal mounts where fitted it was nice and level so got the gunk out and gave it a good clean up

the engines in which was the main thing, i cant solder so my mates going to pop down and join the wiring for me, then its to the machine shop to get the v6 cavalier front hub flanges machine so i can get the driveshafts in, all in all i hope for a pretty looking 1.0 with 5 stud and discs all round, got all the parts just need the time to get it all done
