Not worth risking using a masonry drill bit when you can get the proper ones from Screwfix for under £10. They are a lot quicker aswell | |

Only use tile bits for really hard stuff. Just turn the hammer off and a masonry bit will be fine as Richard said | |

last time i did it just used masonry bit but masking taped the tile to stop the bit slipping. Took it really slowly and all was fine. | |
