Not worth risking using a masonry drill bit when you can get the proper ones from Screwfix for under £10. They are a lot quicker aswell

i got my tile drill from screwfix, worlds apart from a masonary bit

Only use tile bits for really hard stuff. Just turn the hammer off and a masonry bit will be fine as Richard said

last time i did it just used masonry bit but masking taped the tile to stop the bit slipping. Took it really slowly and all was fine.

Need to drill some holes into bathroom tiles.

Any drill bits recommended? Don't mind paying for better quality stuff, loss of stuff about but no idea what's shit.
