Visio will do all you need, have all measurements etc.

Can download a 30 use trial iirc from MS too :thumbs:

Is there any user friendly software out there to create house plan i.e. not CAD? Something that will let me print to scale good enough for a planning application?

I can do them by hand but i want to be able to change easily...
