Main disadvantage with a flat is access. All your shopping needs carrying that extra distance. Mine is top floor so its particularly noticable, but big shops can be 5-6 journeys up and down four floors. I buy extra Coke just for coming home. | |

Go for a house. I live in a flat at the mo with my best mate, couldnt imagine what it would be like with 4 in a 2 bedroom flat! | |

ive been in flat and house and prefer the house situ, its nice to have your own garden and personal outdoor space rather than having to share it, might not be a critical point to some people but it is to me. | |
