I would seriously consider building a small 2 bed house in that garden and selling it :|

Looks like the house is taking shape though :)

Looks just like mine did, bare plaster, floorboards etc

Bit of advice - finish one room at a time if you can, its better in the long run and no matter how impatient u get sometimes done be tempted to do it all in one go!

We have had this house in the family since I was about 5, we moved out of it when I was 8 as my mother had got a new job and a house came with it... we rented the house out until November last year to my uncle who moved out leaving the house in such a mess all the walls, ceilings, all electrics and plumbing had to be ripped out and re done !

So I agreed to chip in get it sorted up for me and Caroline to live in !... Thankfully I work in the construction industry and have good contacts with all sorts of trades

Well this is what it looks like coming down.

As you can see it looks like shit, but its taking shape quick.. got a deal done with the roofers/rough casters at my work and we got the roof re done removing the chimney pots and chimney core... with the full house still to be roughcast in white chips, even built a wee gate at the side.

Looking into the back garden its massive !

We put the fence up to keep the kids out and chose to chip the back and turf the rest

nice wee base for a garage already to go

Well like I said it all needed re done inside, being a painter and decorator means I could do it all myself... I hate plastering but it had to be done worse than stripping wall paper, some bits are still damp underneath as you will see.. Also got the gas all re done with new radiators

living room all skimmed

Hall

Hall Up stairs

B ROOM1

B ROOM 2

B ROOM 3

The kitchen is due to be fitted when we all agree what will be right how it looks atm

Still loads to do but the hard bits are all done
