I'm looking at buying, because renting is just dead money that you can't get back!

Currently looking at a 3-bedroom house on a quiet cul-de-sac, in a quiet area, with its own driveway......£44,995, can't complain at that! :)

Yeah I know what you mean, we are looking at around £400-£500 a month for a 2 bed house or flat, with some secure parking for mine and my mates car (both would be theft targets on the road) and I really want it local to the local town at the moment. So its within walking distance when pissed up and close for me mates. But I dont think I will find that to be honest without forking out more dollar, not bothered about furnished as I can pay to get that sorted straight away.

to be honest it could be anything really.
even places a few miles apart make huge differences, me and a mate have been looking at getting a place, for 600 a month in our town we could get a very small 2 bed flat un furnished, or 8 miles up the road in stevenage we could have a 3 bed fully furnished house with garage and garden

Yeah, gonna be trying that at the weekend Kris, just wanted an idea on stuff today.

I am looking for a house/flat to rent. Problem being there doen't seem to be any on the net around my area, maybe I am looking in the wrong places.

I will be looking in the local papers and such like but I thought the net would be a great resource for houses/flats to rent. There seems to be loads of people round my end that can find a flat, but I am picky, I want somewhere that my car is safe.

Would people who rent be kind enough to tell me how much they pay and what they have so I know what I am working with??

Cheers,
Sean.
