85-90kg will see me bulked out where I want

Funny thing is I'm not even training for mass it's just a benefit from training for strength and muscular endurance and not running as much due to (injury) rehab

I feel we should split this thread/make a gym thread as this has changed from just meal replacement shakes

That's big leap in such a small time, what weight you trying to hit?

I'm aiming for up to 1.5ib a month gain Max.

It also helps a lot with transitioning from a bulk to a cut and vice versa.

I couldn't deal with it

I prefer the see it eat it method and accept the gains, got me from 72kg to 81kg over 2 months and I feel the leanest I've ever been

I noticed Robin mentioned loosing weight in another thread. I understand their uses when training for gains.

I had success with them before, lost 2 stone in 3 months, hence wanting to go that way again.

I'm lazy and it's a lot easier to have a shake twice a day and a normal meal than work out what I can and can't eat during the day.

Dont bother with calorie counting it'll just make you give up more easily. Just swapping out certain foods and stopping snacking will reduce a lot of your daily calories.

Oh no point in them for weight loss, massively unhealthy way to do it and unlikely to keep the weight off as soon as you start eating properly

If it's weight loss then simple; less calories in than out does the trick

Normally for the opposite reason Gary, its an easy way to get extra calories in when lifting rather than trying to shovel down another "meal"

Why bother? If you want to loose weight what's wrong with eating right and exercise?

Or is that too much like hard work for everyone now?

1kg of Pure whey chocolate mint or strawberry protein and enough ultra fine scottish oats works out at under £18 and is enough for month's supply if you have a shake daily

Here's a link with £5 off for your first order so it makes it even cheaper ;)

Bulkpowders do much cheaper and nicer tasting supplements.

I did the same as Jason and then just added 50g of oats to a protein shake for the calories. Works out much cheaper than mass gainers/meal replacements etc.

Mix myprotein instant oats with a flavoured whey protein.

Can get the oats in 5kg bags so just measure it out

My Protein used to do some really nice chocolate mint and strawberry ones which were in individual sachets but they don't do them anymore.

Can anyone recommend some which actually work and don't taste like vomit please?
