Yeah talk photography can be okay but take it all with a pinch of salt. There's users on there that live for belittling other people rather than constructive stuff. It's a shame as there is also a large number of truly talented people on there with a massive wealth of knowledge that have no problem sharing it.
There's the community stuff on Flickr too but I always felt it was a little disjointed somehow, albeit it covers the full gamut of photography from all over the world so sometimes worth battling through it :)
500px isn't bad but not really for criticism, more of somewhere to showcase stuff, it's mostly positive on there and fantastic for inspiration

talkphotography ? - They can be quite dickish on there though.
upload to flickr, can create Albums etc on there

Just a quick question, what forum or website is best to post photos of which I have taken?
I'm looking for a site if possible that allows me to create albums and also offers plenty of constructive criticism, as I am new to the DSLR game.
