Technically the more megapixels the better, but beyond 8ish most people wouldn't know the difference unless you try printing large shots. | |

Yes, small compacts with high MP really do struggle. 8-10mp is more than enough for anybody with a P&S. | |

Better than a regular point and shoot imo. Few more controls and options if you want that sort of thing. | |

Is it possible to get a decent camera for £100? Something nice and easy to use? Just to take with me places and take a decent photo with? |
