Technically the more megapixels the better, but beyond 8ish most people wouldn't know the difference unless you try printing large shots.

10mp is fine for A2, and most will never print that big.

These little bridge camera have better processing power too, so the 10mp from that *might* clean up better than 13mp off a point and shoot.

Depends on the p&s though...

Yes, small compacts with high MP really do struggle. 8-10mp is more than enough for anybody with a P&S.

comind down is good just meant not going to go up its not on offer or anything. so would this 10 mega pix be better than a normal 13 mega pix ?

Better than a regular point and shoot imo. Few more controls and options if you want that sort of thing.

No idea what you mean will it stop at that price? Prices are always coming down slowly.

I'd get a little bridge camera like this - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Fujifilm-FinePix-S1000fd-Digital-Camera/dp/B00152A06G/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1281387825&sr=1-2

Loved my little one before I got my DSLR.

Is it possible to get a decent camera for £100? Something nice and easy to use? Just to take with me places and take a decent photo with?
