i take a colapsable tripod with me, its not the most steady thing when fully extended up does the job and is very light too :)

if you go urban eploring do you take a tripod? if not how do you go about getting your pictures to show up as i imagine it would be dark and youd need a slower shutter speed or are there other ways of getting pictures at night without a slow shutter speed

I have found quite a few urban/disused places to explore locally, im intending to go and pay them a visit now i have a new camera :)

already got that in my favourites, and searched for areas explored in Bournemouth and area. Doesn't seem to be any :(

As for the whole Poole harbour shots, water & reflections at night are cool, so its slightly different ;)

look at http://www.forsakenplaces.com/ if ya like that kinda stuff. not updated any more but still sweet.

:o

Urban Exploration is good stuff, find an abandoned mental hospital and your onto a winner!

Check out 28dayslater.co.uk if your into that stuff.

Also thanks mate :)

I'd quite like to go Urban Exploring, dark alleys etc. tbh, I should actually try some day time shots. Was thinking about going down to Poole Harbour tonight.

I just feel intimidated having my camera out at night alone.

I like the interior shot, nicely lit up. As for getting some different type of shots just take your camera anywhere, see what you get like i did to manchester.

Also try some sports stuff, thats challenging as its more unpredictable than setting something up like a car.

Landscape
Urban Exploration
Portrait
etc

Nice shots dude, Have you tried any of the motorway bridge style shots? I gave it a try the other night and quite impressed with the outcome :D

thanx guys. I feel I should move away from snaps of my car, but figured I'd spent time waxing and polishing, it would be criminal not to take snaps :)
