There's one for every budget now if you don't mind used.

I sold a Canon D30 for under 300 just recently, combine that with a few lenses and you've a complete setup for maybe 600. The res isn't great, only 3mp which by todays standards is poor but it'll take an image 2100 pixels wide which is more than adequate for the web, and you can keep the lenses if you do want a newer body in the future.

£700 for a canon 350D, 18-55lens, 1gig CF card. buy at currys before the end of the moneth and use the code 50juneoff you can get teh 350d lens kit for £595

As the title says. I really enjoy taking photos and would definately consider making it a serious hobby once I get my accountancy exams out of the road. Could someone give me some prices for a entry level camera with the sort of lenses etc I would need. At the minute I find myself taking mainly landscapes and birds, the animal type lol
