When you press Print Screen it copies a snapshot of your entire screen to the Clipboard, Control-Print Screen copies a snapshot of the active window.

If you hold down alt and then press print screen this will only copy the front window you have open, so if you need screen shots of only the window ur working in alt+print screen will do it

Print does do something, when you press it it captures the current screen image, then all you have to do is paste into software which can display images, stuff like paint, photoshop, word etc will all work fine.

Thing with "Prt Scr" button is that you dont actually see it do something because it puts the image on your clipboard which is basically just storing it in memory until you use it.

Just tried that and it works, thanks. I don't know why the print screen doesn't do anything though.
