Ok, so here's the lowdown, direct from YouTube - https://goo.gl/2vFqeD

YouTube Flash app for TVs no longer available:

The YouTube Flash app on older TV device models will no longer be available starting June 30th 2017. If your TV model is from 2012 or earlier, you likely have this older version of the YouTube app which looks like this.

Mad how we all use to love smart TVs, then it turns out its quite a pain in the arse for these manufactures to keep their 'apps' up to date, working with all the new enhancements which come out of services/sites such as youtube and netflix - and that is why they are much better fucking off the apps all together and focus on making great TVs.

It was on the actual TV! When I loaded YouTube up, it came up with the on screen message then when I clicked OK it loaded the YouTube App. 30/06/2016 was the date it showed when it will cease.

Can't find anything about it on Google....

Have you got a source for this? Haven't heard about it at all and I'm usually bang up to date with the latest tech news!

I do use it so that'd be annoying though I think it's on the PS4 anyway. Or just get a Chromecast I guess.

Bit weird though seeing as though Google and Samsung have a great relation as per Samsung Galaxies!?

I think it must be a disagreement between YouTube and Samsung? So it would suggest all but I'm not 100% sure.

Bit of a pisser really, it's the easiest way to access it if you haven't got a console hooked up to the TV.
