I never rush with a new console, always wait a good 6-8months at least, usually by then the following happens
-more real person reviews/opinions if its worth it
-more games come out
-a mate usually gets it so i can try before i buy lol
-price drops

I did the same with my Ps4, new 450 with a game, i waited, bought mine new with 2 games for 290 (but did spend 50quid on a 2tb harddrive to boost storage)

Yeah 10/10 basically everywhere innit. Last game that got that was TLOU, and that was a great game. Just don't get the time to play games much with a baby now :(

Zelda on the N64 is on of the all time greats!

i wanna play the new Zelda, getting great reviews, but spending over 400euros for the console and game when im not likely to buy much more for it is just too much.... :(

So has anyone got one yet. I have one reserved at argos and all 3 in the area have stock. That seams a bit easy for a new console on release day.
Really want to play the new Zelda

I did! Obviously I wasn't fooled having seen the actual and original one  although it still looked pretty decent as well

Wasn't trying to fool you - wanted to make sure you'd seen it and had a chuckle!

I don't think it will be powerful like Sony or Microsoft, but Nintendo never really aim for that kind of thing. It's much more nowadays a family oriented console and for big kids and little kids. I'll always like Nintendo for some classic nostalgia value anyway.

Hardly get time to game anymore, so won't be picking it up but must admit Zelda looks great. The N64 one is obviously one of the greatest games ever. I don't really think the concepts going to take off though... it looks good in the promo videos but who's actually going to use it in all the different ways? At the same time though lots of people are saying it's underpowered etc. which I really don't think matters if the games are good enough.

What are people's thoughts so far of the up and coming console? I still love Nintendo so I'll grab one at some point. Zelda seemingly speaking for itself  I just hope they have done as much as possible to replicate the N64 Zelda and it's wonderful originality!
