Thanks mate - I'd got that far but it turned out there was a firmware update I needed to download from the mirascreen website - all sorted now and in fairness - not bad performance for the price!

I did manage to crash it with Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic mirroring to the TV.

You need to browse to the IP address show on the TV (on your phone) then go to the WIFI settings and connect the MiraScreen to your wifi network, your phone should then see it just fine.

Well... Can't work out how to get Airplay Mirroring working. Connect fine to the Mirascreen but when I press Airplay on the iPhone nothing happens!

Ordered one! Should arrive tomorrow. Interested to see if iDevice mirroring works. If so, bargain.

You not going to buy one for your Camper? :o

Quite impressed with the Amazon Firestick. Upgraded the main device to FireTV. Got a spare stick now I could use.

Does it work with the Sky app on iOS Dave? I know sky have disabled screen mirroring over HDMI output, but it'd be interesting and useful if this could work instead.

I bought this mainly for the Camper so we can use our phones to stream stuff to the TV..

It can run in AirPlay/DNLA mode or Android mode (I believe it emulates a Chrome cast?) allowing you to stream content or mirror your display from Apple and Android phones.

You can use its own WIFI as an ad-hoc network or you can connect it to your WIFI network.

Great bit of kit of 11 quid!
