My best mate has done a fair bit with his collection of them. He has managed to set them up as web servers and blogged it for all to see.

Quartz-reloaded theme is what i run on Raspbmc and it's fine. Having a Rev 2 with the extra 256MB makes the biggest difference tbf.

Still need to try running Raspbmc off a decent USB stick; suppose to help with cover flow etc.

Yeah, tried a different skin (Back Row) and it ran badly. Will stick to the standard one for now, unless there are even lighter ones out there?

Thats pretty cool, powering off the tv

I also found the bigger / better skins cause it to lag abit.

Here's my setup now:

Powered from the USB socket on the TV so it powers on and off when you turn the TV on and off.

Do they come with cases now? Mine was bare pins on the GPIO header to breadboard onto.

Was a kit which included a case, PSU, SD card etc.

Edit - This is the case that i have - HERE

Got one running Raspbmc for streaming movies/tv shows from my brothers media server. Get the odd tiny bit of lag but its ok, probably just need a better memory card as said in here.

I was using mine for a laboratory device - I got fed up with drawing pictures of computer programs in Labview and wanted to actually write some code.

Can also install Raspbmc to a USB drive which dramatically helps; yet to try this though....

My brother has one but I believe he has achieved nothing with it.

Got one for Xmas, pretty nifty things  Did the obligatory and stuck Raspbmc on it and can't say i have too many issues with it once it was overclocked; plays my 1080p material, granted they aren't BD rips, without much aggro.

Have a few ideas for it but need to remove the case it came with to get access to the IO.

I got one when they were on offer for £29, i put XBMC on it, but it doesnt run that well compared to my media centre XBMC, so its sat in a box doing nothing at the moment, think all in all i spent £50 on it with the added extras

I've got one in my desk drawer... The most use I've had form it is xbmc and using it to iplayer/4od/itv player on my TV... But the interface on my ipad is better so I just link that to my TV using a hdmi cable. Wish someone would smash airplay properly on it.

I've got 2, 1 hasn't been out the box and one is an ongoing project. Never done what I've wanted to do and just worked.

Could probably play 720 stuff quite happily but it's never been happy with most of my 1080 media.

Will probably find a use for them eventually.

Lots of talk awhile ago about raspberry pi, just wondering if any projects came of it.

Seem to be £35 now wonder if it was worth getting one now the rush has gone.

Although some one is paying loads for this one http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Twelve-Pis-of-Christmas-Raspberry-Pi-Model-A-Computer-/181047598420?pt=UK_Computing_Other_Computing_Networking&hash=item2a27471d54
