It's not just the same interface though, they share a load of the code, including the kernel. | |

Interesting to see how they have plugged it as having full multitasking when in fact its very very similar to the way its done in iOS i.e. certain things it allows to run in the background. | |

My issue with this announcement is two things. There is no date when it'll be released. And no word on pricing apart from it'll be the same as some notebooks which vary by £200-£300. It's like a car manufacturer saying they're releasing a car capable of 125mpg but there is no release date or price. | |

if microsoft designed some of their own laptops with style in mind theyve got the potential to take over apple again, the apple bubbles going to burst eventually (and im a big fan of apple) | |

Sounds interesting, as they mention in the article should make it easier for applications to be transitioned from fully fledged PC to Tablet to Phone, whether that'll lead to quality applications for slate or mobile is another question though. | |
