Apologies, thought the cyclone ones were wireless, although you can get the wireless adaptor for £11 by the look of it, takes it to just over £50

Just search for a media streamer, should be able to get one for 30 quid that'll work fine for what you want to do

Cheapest solution is an xbox, apple tv or somethin like that probably.

not 100% clued up on this stuff, as it sit's i use vuze to add my "videos/films" to stream to xbox to play through tv, my old man uses a usb stick in a dvd player to do the same thing but dvd player only plays certain file types, is there such a thing with wifi built in that i can connect to his tv and stream a list of films/programmes from my laptop must be pretty simple to use and set up . .

any help appreciated
