:!

The game was first revealed at E3 2006 under the name Vision Gran Turismo. In an April 2008 interview, Yamauchi revealed that 150 people had worked on Gran Turismo 5 for four years, with all of Polyphony Digital's 120 employees working on GT5, and the game costing 50 times more to develop than 1997's Gran Turismo,[27] with Yamauchi later disclosing that Gran Turismo 5 had cost $60 million to develop

Can't wait for the fucking thing to come out.

That's pretty cool that they actually get dirty now, I remember in the older ones there was that facility to wash the cars, but they never looked any different

i played the GT academy with the wheel and thought it was pretty damn good, it was hard and make you really try to get your lines good and you HAD to be smooth to be fast (i was 27th fastest in the UK and was 0.130 from 19th place)

ive heard that the physics have been made slightly easier but not by much.

i played a demo build at lemans but only with the pad on professional so i had no idea how that would feel on a wheel and once with a wheel but on standard physics.

Cool.

Any hands-on impressions of how it actually plays yet? I'd have expected a few at least, given it's supposed to be out in like 20 days.

there's only so much wanking each other off over the ZOMG GRAFFICS you can do.
